Here is some good news for everyone: The 2200MPa Xiaomi Ultra – Strong Steel has won the “First Prize for Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievements” of the China Industry – University – Research Cooperation Promotion Association!

The project achievements have now been mass – produced and applied in: the new – generation SU7 and Xiaomi YU7.

The Scientific and Technological Innovation Award of the China Industry – University – Research Cooperation Promotion Association is the highest honor in China for collaborative innovation in the industry – university – research community. The selection of this award is of high level, strict standards and strong credibility, and it is a well – recognized “vane” in the industry – university – research community.

The project of “Technology and Application of 1000 – 2200MPa High – Toughness Thin Aluminum – Silicon Coated Hot – Stamped Automotive Steel” is a scientific and technological innovation achievement of deep industry – university – research integration among Xiaomi Auto, @Northeastern University, @Yucaitang and other enterprises. Through layers of selection, it has won the first prize for scientific and technological innovation. 1000, 1500, 2000 and 2200MPa have all been mass – produced and applied in Xiaomi cars.
