This ranking is a core user satisfaction study released by the globally renowned research institution J.D. Power for China’s new energy vehicle market. The research measures the overall ownership and driving experience within 2 to 6 months after purchase, covering 11 major indicators including safety, vehicle performance, driving feel, exterior design and more. The study covers 81 cities with 21,512 respondents, reflecting genuine user feedback on the comprehensive product experience.
In the newly released 2026 J.D. Power New Energy Vehicle Appeal Study (NEV-APEAL), the first-generation Xiaomi SU7 ranked first among large pure electric sedans, and the Xiaomi YU7 ranked first among large pure electric SUVs.
Notably, in the 2025 J.D. Power New Energy Vehicle Appeal Study (NEV-APEAL) and New Energy Vehicle Initial Quality Study (NEV-IQS) released last year, the first-generation Xiaomi SU7 already achieved double first-place awards in the mid-to-large pure electric sedan category. The new-generation SU7 was launched and started delivery on March 19. To date, the number of locked orders has exceeded 30,000 units, outperforming the first-generation SU7 during the same period.
