Xiaomi SU7 Ultra 3-Stage Adjustable Carbon Fiber Spoiler: Differences, Downforce & CLTC Range
What are the differences between the newly launched 3-stage adjustable carbon fiber spoiler for the SU7 Ultra and the previous version?
We have found that some SU7 Ultra users greatly appreciate the appearance of the carbon fiber spoiler but mainly use their vehicles for daily commuting. On one hand, they do not need the downforce generated by the spoiler; on the other hand, they prioritize longer driving range. For this reason, we have specially developed a 3-stage angle-adjustable carbon fiber spoiler with a mounting bracket for users to choose from (professional tools are required for adjusting the stages).
In the default mode, the spoiler tilts at 10°, delivering an additional 24.5 km of CLTC range compared with the standard carbon fiber spoiler, providing the longest range and minimum downforce, suitable for daily driving.
In the middle stage, the spoiler tilts at 5°, adding an extra 20 km of CLTC range, with a maximum vehicle downforce of 127.1 kg.
In the maximum stage, the spoiler remains in a neutral position with no tilt, increasing CLTC range by 13.5 km, and generating a maximum vehicle downforce of 176 kg, offering the highest downforce and shortest range, ideal for sport or track driving.
It should be noted that changes in driving range caused by adjusting the spoiler angle will not be displayed in the “CLTC Range” or “Estimated Range” on the vehicle infotainment system. Therefore, during daily use, you may not directly observe the changes brought by different spoiler angles from the displayed range figures.
In addition, the optional 3-stage adjustable carbon fiber spoiler is not equipped with a front air dam, so it cannot achieve the maximum vehicle downforce of 285 kg. If you require maximum downforce performance, you can choose the non-adjustable carbon fiber spoiler, which is still paired with the front air dam.
We will also fully consider the needs of existing car owners. The 3-stage adjustable spoiler bracket will be launched in the Xiaomi Auto App store in the future. If your SU7 Ultra is already equipped with the carbon fiber spoiler, you can purchase the 3-stage adjustable spoiler bracket separately to enable the angle-adjustable function after replacement.
