The AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) system of the new generation Xiaomi SU7 has expanded its target recognition categories, further enhancing its performance in extreme scenarios. Here are the three core capabilities of the new Xiaomi SU7 safety assist system:
1. Wide speed coverage:
The vehicle supports AEB functions for both front and rear directions. The system operates at a speed range of 1–135 km/h for forward driving and 1–30 km/h for reverse driving.
2. Diverse target recognition:
In addition to common targets such as vehicles, pedestrians, and two-wheelers, at forward speeds of 20–135 km/h, the system can identify road barriers like water barriers and crash barrels. It also adds recognition capability for irregular obstacles of certain sizes, including cardboard boxes, stones, and tires.
3. Multi-function collaborative operation:
The AEB collision avoidance assist works together with AES (Automatic Emergency Steering) and MAI (Misacceleration Suppression) functions to improve the overall response capability of the safety assist system.
