Xiaomi New SU7 Pro Real-World Range Test Results & Performance Review

How is the real-world range performance of the all-new Xiaomi SU7?

Recently, the all-new Xiaomi SU7 has delivered outstanding performance in range tests conducted by multiple professional automotive media outlets. The real-world range results from various reputable media fully demonstrate the excellent range capability of the all-new Xiaomi SU7 Pro, which we believe can well meet daily driving demands.

In a test by Autohome, the all-new Xiaomi SU7 Pro carried 2 passengers and was driven under simulated typical urban road conditions at an average speed of 43.7 km/h. The test concluded when the indicated range reached 0 or “–”. The final measured real-world range was 892 km, with a range achievement rate of 98.9%.

In the 5th Ring Road extreme range test under full load (3 passengers + extra weight), the all-new Xiaomi SU7 Pro completed the test at an average speed of 50 km/h until the vehicle could no longer run. It achieved a real-world range of 829.9 km, with a range achievement rate of 92.2%.

In a test by Yiche, the all-new Xiaomi SU7 Pro carried 2 passengers at an average speed of 47 km/h, running until both remaining battery and range displayed zero. The measured combined real-world range reached 785 km, with a range achievement rate of 87%, currently ranking first among all pure electric models on the Yiche Real-World Range Ranking.

In an exclusive studio test by Dongchedi under sustained high-speed conditions, the all-new Xiaomi SU7 Pro performed a high-speed loop range test at a constant speed of 120 km/h with a 375 kg full load until the vehicle stopped. It recorded a real-world range of 533 km, taking first place in the test and becoming the first model to exceed 500 km under this challenge.

The all-new Xiaomi SU7 Pro also completed a live-streamed range challenge: traveling from Beijing to Shanghai on a full battery with only one charging stop en route. With three passengers plus live broadcast equipment simulating full-vehicle load, it traveled 1173 km from Beijing to the designated destination in Shanghai, still retaining 50 km of CLTC remaining range upon arrival.

Such exceptional range performance benefits from multiple technological upgrades. The all-new Xiaomi SU7 has undergone extensive optimization in battery technology and low-energy-consumption design. Notably, the energy transfer efficiency from battery to wheel reaches up to 94%, and the comprehensive CLTC efficiency of the electric drive system has been improved by 1.5% compared with the first-generation SU7.
Through technological upgrades alone, the CLTC range of the all-new Xiaomi SU7 Pro has increased by 72 km compared with the previous model, showing remarkable improvement.
