Xiaomi New SU7 Electric Spoiler Modes and How to Use Correctly

What are the modes of the electric spoiler on the new‑generation SU7, and how to use it properly?

Since the first‑generation SU7, the Max variant has come standard with an electric spoiler (optional for the Pro variant), which has been widely praised by users.
It not only delivers a highly sporty and striking appearance but also offers outstanding functional performance.

The new‑generation SU7 retains this classic feature: the Max trim includes the electric spoiler as standard, while it remains optional for the Pro trim.
In addition to manual 4‑stage adjustment, the spoiler also supports automatic 4‑stage adjustment based on different driving scenarios, satisfying diverse needs for styling, low drag, and downforce.

When the vehicle speed is between 70–100 km/h, the system automatically adjusts the spoiler to Position P1 (5°), with no significant impact on range.
When speed exceeds 100 km/h, the spoiler automatically moves to Position P2 (12°) to improve driving stability.
When speed reaches 140 km/h or higher, it adjusts to Position P3 (25°).
At 265 km/h, this position can generate a maximum downforce of 130 kg.

During heavy braking at high speed, high‑speed collision warning, or automatic emergency braking, the spoiler automatically deploys to P3 (25°), while the front intake grille is forced open.
This increases aerodynamic drag and downforce to shorten braking distance.

In addition, when the spoiler is closed, the new‑generation SU7 is in its lowest drag state.
For daily driving, if you wish to achieve the lowest energy consumption and longest possible range, it is recommended to keep the active spoiler closed.
