Xiaomi’s Automotive Division Wins Top Prize at 2025 International Die Casting Competition

We are pleased to announce that Xiaomi’s automotive division has received a new accolade:
At the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) event, the Xiaomi YU7’s 20-in-1 integrated die-cast aluminum front crossbeam won the Best Structural Award at the 2025 International Die Casting Competition, which is the highest-level prize of the competition.

The North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) hosts the largest and most professional annual die-casting industry exhibition in North America.

In terms of vehicle safety, the integrated die-cast aluminum front crossbeam serves as one of the primary load-transfer paths during collisions. When a collision occurs, the impact force is transmitted through this structure to the opposite side of the body, enhancing energy absorption and reducing the energy impact on the passenger cabin structure.

Additionally, the integrated die-cast aluminum front crossbeam adopts a cross-system integration design for the body and thermal management. It supports the mounting of components such as the air conditioning unit, compressor, refrigerant, and integrated cooling module, enabling an extremely compact front-end layout and creating a 141 L oversized front trunk for the Xiaomi YU7.

Combined with other high-performance, highly integrated designs—such as the integrated die-cast rear floor and the Cell-to-Body (CTB) battery integration—the Xiaomi YU7 achieves a torsional stiffness of 47,610 N·m/deg, leading its class.
