Although both Xiaomi YU7 and Xiaomi SU7 are developed on the Xiaomi Modena platform, 90% of Xiaomi YU7’s components have been redesigned. Xiaomi YU7 is positioned as a “Luxury High-Performance SUV,” not an ordinary large-space SUV, but an SUV meticulously designed for drivers. It combines elegant styling and high performance, while offering excellent luxury feel and spacious comfort. The exterior design adopts the family language inherited from Xiaomi SU7, with evolved details like hollowed-out waterdrop headlights and halo taillights, making it sharper, more three-dimensional, and better suited to its “Luxury High-Performance SUV” positioning. Additionally, the cabin is more technological, luxurious, and comfortable, featuring the new Xiaomi HyperVision panoramic display for a fresh visual interaction experience; the interior uses a dual-zone surround design with simple, full surfaces, luxurious materials, extensive soft padding, front dual zero-gravity seats, rear 135° luxury electric seats, and unexpectedly large space, providing a more luxurious and comfortable experience. Performance-wise, the upgraded Xiaomi Super Motor V6s Plus enhances speed, torque, and power over the V6s, with the dual-motor AWD version delivering up to 690PS max horsepower and 508kW peak power, making it exceptionally powerful. The luxury chassis setup with professional tuning balances sportiness and comfort. The entire series offers ultra-long range; the entry version has an 835km ultra-long CLTC range, and the AWD version achieves up to 770km. A: “Motion Sickness Relief Mode” is a new driving scenario mode exclusive to Xiaomi YU7. Q: Front trunk can be opened via XiaoAI outside; how is safety ensured?
A: Safety is fully addressed. After setting your voiceprint in the vehicle’s account settings and enabling the feature, Xiaomi YU7’s external voice commands require dual verification via voiceprint and digital key. Only with both a familiar voice and key present will XiaoAI wake to open the front trunk. Q: What are the benefits of Xiaomi YU7’s standard 800V SiC high-voltage platform?
A: The 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform is a core architecture for next-gen EVs, with the entire high-voltage system (battery, motor, controls, thermal mgmt, etc.) operating at 800V, using SiC devices instead of silicon. SiC is more voltage/heat-resistant with higher conductivity, reducing losses and improving efficiency. Standard on all YU7 models, it enables faster charging and stronger performance. Xiaomi YU7 Max charges at up to 5.2C, adding 620km in 15 minutes; with V6s Plus motor, max power 508kW, 0-100km/h in 3.23 seconds.
