Xiaomi YU7 Pet Safety Mode
Q: Can the car door open if my pet accidentally triggers the lock while I leave it inside?
A: You don’t need to worry. Xiaomi YU7 supports Pet Mode, which keeps the air conditioning running and temporarily disables the accelerator/brake pedals, windows, and horn for both comfort and safety. If you’re concerned about your pet playing around and accidentally pressing the door button, you can further enable In-Cabin Door Lock Anti-Misactivation to prevent accidental door openings.
To activate:
Swipe down from the top edge of the infotainment screen to open the Control Center.
Select Parked Space > Pet Mode and tap to enable.
The mode will activate after you exit and lock the vehicle.
To enable the anti-misactivation feature:
Once the vehicle is locked after exiting, the in-cabin unlock button will be automatically disabled to prevent accidental triggering by your pet.
