Xiaomi YU7 Child Lock Features
Q: I need to take my child out. Does Xiaomi YU7 have child locks on the rear doors?
A: Xiaomi YU7 is equipped with child locks for both the left and right rear doors. You can access them via the control panel below the central screen: Settings > Door Locks > Child Lock, where you can enable or disable the child lock for either rear door. Alternatively, swipe down from the top of the driver’s side central screen to open the Control Center and select Door Child Lock > Left/Rear Door. Once activated, the child lock prevents the door from being opened from the inside (though it can still be opened from the outside) to avoid accidental opening by children. Additionally, all Xiaomi YU7 models feature a rear mobile control screen with child lock functionality to prevent accidental operation by rear passengers. This screen allows control of air conditioning, front passenger seats, multimedia, etc. You can enable/disable this feature via Settings > Display > Rear Screen Child Lock in the control panel below the central screen.
