Q: Why does the charging gun seem locked during home charging?
A: If the charging gun is unexpectedly locked, it may be due to unfinished charging or an unlocked vehicle. Please first confirm whether the charging has ended and ensure the vehicle is unlocked before attempting to remove the gun. Normally, charging automatically stops when the battery is full or reaches the set limit; you can also manually stop it via the vehicle screen or Xiaomi Car APP. If the issue persists, use the emergency release cord—located in the left side of the trunk (as shown in the diagram)—to unlock the gun. Note that this method is for emergencies only, as frequent use may damage the cord or charging equipment. For safety, never forcibly remove the charging gun during operation, as it may damage the port or cause electric shock. Always follow the manual’s procedures for safe charging.
