Q: Why has Xiaomi announced the new SU7 model now, even though it won’t be officially launched until April?
A: We believe purchasing a car is a significant decision. Announcing the new SU7 model three months in advance gives you ample time to compare, experience, and purchase the product. Additionally, after the new SU7 is announced for pre-sale, we can remove the heavy camouflage from test vehicles and conduct more rigorous road testing. The new SU7 is upgraded based on the architecture of the first-generation SU7, and testing validation is still ongoing. By the time the new SU7 is officially launched and delivered, the cumulative road test mileage of the entire SU7 series is expected to exceed 15 million kilometers (including the first-generation SU7). The SU7 has undergone testing in various conditions and social road environments, covering temperatures from -30°C extreme cold to 50°C extreme heat, and all driving scenarios including plateau, urban, rural, elevated, mountain, and national/provincial roads.
