Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Zhejiang Record Delay Official Driver Change
Q: Why did the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra wait until now to set the Zhejiang Circuit lap record? Why wasn’t it driven by “Brother Can” this time?
A: According to the official lap time rules of Zhejiang International Circuit, all vehicles participating in tests and entering the rankings must be mass-produced models available on the market, with all components strictly complying with legal regulations and eligible for legal road use and licensing. Therefore, we strictly adhered to these rules and commenced the Zhejiang Circuit lap record challenge on March 17, 2025, after the official launch of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. At the same time, to ensure the professionalism and consistency of the test, as well as the authority and credibility of the results, Zhejiang Circuit stipulates that the official test for its lap time rankings must be conducted by an official Zhejiang Circuit driver. Thus, the driver for this Xiaomi SU7 Ultra lap attempt was the official Zhejiang Circuit test driver, Luo Kailuo @ Racing Driver Luo Kailuo.
