Does Xiaomi New SU7 Max Support Remote Control for Smart Dimming Sunroof?
If I forget to set the sunroof glass to shading mode when leaving the new‑generation SU7 Max and want to avoid the car being exposed to strong sunlight, can I adjust it remotely?
Currently, the smart dimming sunroof glass does not support remote adjustment via mobile phone.
However, to prevent exposure from damaging interior items and trims, as well as to avoid excessive cabin temperature, the vehicle will automatically switch to shading mode 10 minutes after locking and powering off, and restore your previous setting when you get in the car next time. Therefore, you do not need to worry about the car being exposed to the sun after leaving.
In shading mode, the smart dimming sunroof achieves a 99.9% blocking rate for both ultraviolet and infrared rays, with a light shielding rate of 99.85%. It effectively reduces the interior temperature by 10–15°C under strong sunlight, and its actual measured thermal insulation effect is comparable to that of a physical sunshade.
It can effectively block strong light to prevent overheating inside the vehicle, while also protecting passengers, pets, personal belongings and interior trims from sun damage.
Everyone is welcome to experience it offline.
