Q: Is the Xiaomi YU7’s external Xiao Ai function accessible to everyone?
A: Based on previous user feedback regarding external voice feature safety, after upgrading to Xiaomi HyperOS 1.10.0, voiceprint verification is required to use the car’s external Xiao Ai function. If verification fails, the vehicle will flash hazard lights twice as a prompt without voice announcements. You can set up voiceprint via Settings > Super Xiao Ai > External Voice Wake-up > Record Now.
For security reasons, authorized drivers must also register their voiceprints and carry a paired Bluetooth-enabled phone near the vehicle to use external Xiao Ai. This measure effectively prevents accidental operations by others and ensures your driving safety.
